Although passengers hit turbulence so severe Monday that it left passengers crashing into the ceiling, pilots on board the United Airlines flight did not announce the situation over intercom, Fox News reports.
“I thought it was very interesting that the pilot never came on and said anything about what happened,” Kerri Mullins told KUSA. “There was nothing.”
Other passengers agreed and said no one was expecting it, including the flight crew.
Three crew members and two passengers were injured, United Airlines spokesman Luke Punzenberger told The Denver Post.
Following the injuries, United Airlines passengers dealt with widespread delays Tuesday morning as the airline had nationwide computer problems with their reservation system, according to The Chicago Tribune.
